Science should be accessible to all, independent of gender, race, or economic status. I strive to promote diversity and inclusion in my teaching and outreach efforts. Throughout my career I have been engaged in various formal and informal teaching and outreach activities, listed below. 
Teaching Activities
  • TA for Kinesiology (2011-2013)
  • TA for Vertebrate Physiology (2013)
  • Guest Lecturer: Neurobiology, Vertebrate Physiology, Wildlife Ecology, Fish Physiology
  • Taught elementary and high school classes on the basics of neuroscience, including neuroscience demos using Backyard Brain technologies
